A Romanian photographer has mesmerised the world – including Oprah – through her gripping portraits of women all over the world. Through her Atlas of Beauty project,
Mihaela Noroc, 30, has duly created a name for herself by capturing enchanting portraits of women in more than 30 countries – including North Korea – showcasing that beauty is in diversity and it can be found even in the unlikeliest of locations.
Yes, natural stunners traipse the far-flung locations of the Amazon rainforest to Kathmandu, Nepal to UlaanBatar, Mongolia. More importantly, these portraits exemplify that beauty cannot be limited to a specific skin color, body size, or shape. Beauty is diverse. Beauty is authentic.
As 2016 kicks off, Noroc has set her sights on Asia once again with shoots all over the Indian subcontinent.
Fingers crossed she jets over here to the Philippines to capture our naturally beautiful women; it would only be timely as the spotlight shines on the Filipina after the unforgettable Miss Universe victory of Pia Wurtzbach.
Take a look at some of Noroc’s stunning portraits below.
