As stated in the New Testament, Easter signifies the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the celebration of this event brings forth hope and new life.  So what better way to celebrate it other than to join the first-ever DYE TO LIVE Color Run 2017 by JCI Lipa? It is not only a fun run but also a fund-raising event that aims to help and support others’ livelihoods via the community projects of JCI Lipa.

Set aside your usual Easter egg-hunting activity and head on to Lipa City, Batangas for the DYE TO LIVE Color Run 2017 on April 16 at the Summit Point Golf & Country Club in Inusluban, Barangay Plaridel, Lipa City, Batangas.

The event starts off with the three color-themed stations — each labeled as Super Hero, Tribal, and Flower-festival.  Expect marshals in each station to be donned in full costume.  A color run will not be complete without the holi powder that will be showered on participants as they pass each station.

Be sure to flash a smile and show your power stride as you go through the race course because photographers will be taking pictures which will then be uploaded three days after the race in Running Photographers and JCI Lipa‘s Facebook pages.

After finishing the run, dance to the mix of a local DJ while being showered some more with color powder.  The Top 30 runners of each category will each receive a finisher’s medal, and ten lucky participants will get to bring home gift packs from sponsors in the raffle draw.

The Easter Sunday color run aims to promote a healthy lifestyle in the community, raise funds to support the community projects of JCI Lipa like the Medical Mission livelihood program for the adopted community, and assist in the maintenance of the Day Care Center at Barangay Hillview in Lipa, Batangas.  By joining, you will be able to extend help and support the livelihoods of others while having fun and keeping fit!
